Athos workout apparel uses embedded sensors to read muscle activity using EMG (Electromyography). A connected app offers analysis and insights on how you are working your body in real time. Balance your lifts, train symmetrically, avoid injury.

As Principal Product Design Engineer I led the design and integration of hardware components into garments. Working with garment designers and engineers I led the design and development of the connector assembly, which securely connects the removable and rechargeable digital processing unit to the garment's sensor network.

Design and engineering challenges involved creating a connector assembly which could be easily operated by the user, while reliably making 50 individual electrical connections into the garment, and remaining waterproof during repeated use and machine wash cycles.
