About Me
For the past 8 years I have worked for creative businesses focused on new product creation and launch. My experience is focused on turning design concepts into market ready products. Qualified as an engineer and designer I can offer expertise at many stages of development from evaluation of ideas, through detailed design, engineering, prototyping and ultimately production.
Starting my career as a mechanical engineer I moved on to study Industrial Design at the Royal College of Art, London. As such I am experienced with liaising between designers and engineers and working within multi-disciplinary teams. I have hands on experience of manufacturing in the Far East having setup production lines and overseen tooling development for several products there.
In addition, having directed several startup businesses focused on new product creation, I have a solid understanding of the commercial aspects of start up ventures and how to deal with their constraints.
Origionally born and raised London, UK, I have worked in all corners of the globe and am currently based in San Francisco.
